Some of Our Past Projects
Veteran Home Repair
A local vet and his family were in desperate need of new roof. We partnered with Standale Lumber of Grand Rapids and not only completely replaced their roof but also helped them with interior plumbing repairs.
Veteran's Home Bandshell
In 2015 we revamped and renovated the facility’s 39-year-old band-shell, which is a staple and common gathering place for various events throughout the year.
Through community partnerships and contributions, Finish The Mission is using it's relief fund in many ways. By not only rebuilding the lives for our veterans and their families but also by assisting many vets with hardships and trauma after returning home.
Finish the Mission has provided a variety of grant requests helping Kent County veterans and their families including:
- Family crisis airline travel and lodging
- Medical travel and prescriptions
- Car and home repairs
- Utilities, rent, insurance and other living expenses to bridge financial hardship gaps
